After-School Activities

Fall 2017


Who: any currently enrolled Windsor students are welcome to stay for AfterCare

When: 3:30 to 6 pm any day school in session.

What: Windsor AfterCare is run by Mr. Glass, Miss Kurtz, and Mrs. Macwan and held on campus. Students have the opportunity to play or work on homework and other activities.

Cost: see the school website for the pricing structure. Registration fee: $25.

Baton Twirling Club

Who: girls in grades kindergarten through fifth

When: Mondays, 3:30-4:30 pm

What: Learn baton twirling from world champion (and Windsor mom!) Alysha Depp Busza.

Cost: $65 per 5-week session

Worship Dance Club

Who: girls in grades 3-5

When: Tuesdays, 3:30-4:30 pm, beginning Tuesday, September 12

What: Windsor welcomes Diane Matthews, from the Diane Matthews School of Dance Arts in West Chester, as the new worship dance teacher! There will be approximately 10 sessions in the fall and 12 sessions in the spring, and girls will participate in the WCA Christmas and spring programs, and possibly two outside service opportunities.

Cross-Country Club

Who: students grades 3-8 who are able to run at least ½ mile without stopping

When: Tuesdays and Thursday, 3:30-5 pm, September 26 – November 2

What: Cross-country is a chance to fall in love with running! You’ll be running, with Coach Becca O’Toole, over natural terrain at practices and four competitive races.

Cost: $100/runner

Spanish Club

Who: students who are beginner or beginner/intermediate Spanish learners

When: after school; the 9-week course will begin in September and end in November

What: Students will be immersed in Spanish through games, songs, pictures, and learning about Latin American culture. Miss Kurtz will be offering 2 after-school clubs each week–a beginner course with new students and a beginner/intermediate course.
