Established by Windsor Christian Academy to honor the memory of Andrew Vaché
And they were bringing children to him that he might touch them, and the disciples rebuked them. But when Jesus saw it, he was indignant and said to them, “Let the children come to me; do not hinder them, for to such belongs the kingdom of God.” Mark 10:13–14
Tuition is a necessary but regretful part of Christian education, and turning children away from attending Windsor Christian Academy because their parents cannot afford the tuition is tragic. Desire with me, as Spurgeon said, “that the children know the Lord.…Sweet little ones! Dear things! [Would that] they would fall at Christ’s feet in reverent love for the sweet-voiced Teacher, who charms not only men—but children, by His tender words.”
There could be no better tribute to the memory of our son, Andrew, than this scholarship. To provide funds for children whose families are not otherwise financially able to attend Windsor Christian Academy—to share your world’s goods with others so they can send their children to WCA—is love in deed and in truth. Andrew loved like this.
Jesus took the children in His arms when their mothers brought them to Him. He touched them and blessed them. “All His life long, there was nothing in Him like rejection and refusing” (Spurgeon).
